Hell Week is the defining, 5½-day, notoriously brutal crucible in the first phase of U.S. Navy SEAL BUD/S training that tests, and breaks, most candidates. Occurring in the third week, it involves constant, freezing, and sandy, high-intensity, operational, training on less than 4 hours of total sleep. Only ~25% typically survive.
